Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1874. First Edition . Cloth - Hard Cover. Good/No Dust Jacket. 4to. Three volumes in original brown cloth covers with gilt stamped lettering. Illustrated by 64 colored plates and 593 woodcuts. Pebbled cloth covers show scattered rubbing, and there is a little scattered wear along the edges. Very slightly ex-library with plates removed from front paste down, and inked numbers at bottom of preface page in Vol. I, and bottom of contents pages in II and III. Penciled completion of given and middle names from the initials of the authors on the title pages. All three volumes remains fairly tight and contents are otherwise generally clean. Due to weight and size, additional charges will apply for Priority and/or International shipping.
