[vi] + 48 pp. Decorative gilt/black made end papers, Laid on photograph to half title, 4 monochrome photo plates and 12 coloured plans all as called for. History of the Trust established by William Lench, Leather Tanner of Birmingham in 1525 which conveyed his freehold lands acquired from the profits of his life's work to 19 trusted friends for disposition for charitable purposes; thus establishing the oldest Trust in Birmingham and the largest Almshouse Trust in England. VG (Covers- moderate general shelf wear/ soiling, front end paper cracked and slightly damaged by seepage of p.v.a. from re gluing of back strip, and some mild discolouration to obverse of made free end papers. No previous owner name. pencil note to one plan referring to a compulsory purchase order of 1959. No other notable defects.
