Frayed base spine, light fraying to head of spine Small page tears on foredge of pages 539/540 & 541/542. ; A tight solid book, hinges intact; Millman's Works; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 551 pages; A reprint of the original 1887 edition, which consisted of 9 volumes. This is Volumes 1 and 2 in a single binding. Brown cloth boards have gilt lettering on spine. This scholarly work has footnotes throughout. .
