London: R. Ackermann, 1822. [2], 267pp, [1]. Later full calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, morocco title label to second panel, contrasting morocco author / illustrator label to third, remaining panels with leaf corner pieces and central flower head tool in gilt, covers with triple fillet border and flower head corner pieces, gilt roll to edges and inner edges, t.e.g., marbled endpapers. Very minor rubbing to extremities, minor scuff to upper cover, internally some light soiling to text, plate margins lightly damp stained, but generally in good order. With twenty-four colour plates with later tissue guards, lacks 'warning' slip as usual. Tooley 413, Grolier Rowlandson Catalogue 48, Abbey Life 268 (in parts). First Edition. Full Calf. Good+.
