London: J.M. Dent & Sons, 1928. Decorative Cloth. Near Fine. A very handsome example of the 1928 1st English language edition, complete in 2 volumes and translated from its original German by Mrs. Archer-Hind. Both volumes tight and Near Fine in their navy-blue cloth, with bright gilt-crests at the front panels and crisp gilt-titling and devices along the spines. Internally, very clean, with no writing or markings to speak of. Thick quartos, "over six hundred illustrations" thruout. Text by Marie Luise Gothein, edited by Walter P. Wright.
