Vol. I, 582 Pages; Vol II, Vol III, 521 Pages & Vol IV, Contemporary Brown Full- Leather Bindings with 3 very shallow raised bands to spines. Gilt Titles on brown Grounds in 2nd comopartments and Gilt Vol. Nos. on Blacks Grounds in 4th. Gilt Floral Designs on rest of spines. Cross Hatching and Gilt Linear Perimeter to fronts & backs. 8 1/2" Tall. Front and rear boards of Vol. I have been detached and reattached with white hinge tape from the inside. Small bits of leather missing fron spines (see photos). Some loss of surface colour to leather near spines (see photos). Text blocks firm. Previous owner's name, dated 1875, on ffeps.
