Previous owners name on fep and owner in 1914 wrote in nice caligraphy notations about "boys from Clarke County Viginia who served with Company C (2nd Regt) of Harrisonburg during the Spanish American War 1898." This is written across the ffep and half title pages. There are a couple other pages within text block that have notations in the same hand. Spine cloth is lifting and heavy wear at edges. Text is heavily toned.
