By October 1945, the 1st Guided Missile Battalion had been organized, By 1948 it was became the 1st Guided Missile Regiment. The only copy in an institution is at the Army War College. This work has hundreds of photographs of the men, the leaders, and the work being done. It Includes unit rosters with thumbnail portraits./ Includes brief histories of the components of the 1st Guided Missile Brigade to include: 1st Guided Missile Group, 1st Guided Missile Battalion, 2nd Guided Missile Group, 2nd Guided Missile Battalion, Red Canyon Range Battalion, 495th Antiaircraft Missile Battalion, 46th Field Artillery Group, 247th Field Artillery Missile Battalion, 523rd Field Artillery Missile Battalion, and the 550th Field Artillery RKT Battalion. Bound in red cloth lettered and decorated in yellow, spine plain, two corners bumped, two small tape marks to rear endpapers. A very nice copy.
