Illustrated with 50 brilliantly illuminated full page tissue-guarded chromolithographic plates. Further illustrated with over 3400 gravure engravings and 30 colour maps. A monumental work in a most impressive Hachette gilt binding - truly one of the most stunning bindings we've encountered. Sumptuously illustrated with eye-boggling, iridescent Chromolithographs, this extremely rare set is a true work of design art.
