Angus & Robertson, Sydney, 1959. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. 575 g; XIII, 246 pp., acknowledgements, the keynote of this book ?, index and list of illustrations. Black and white photographic frontispiece, showing the first 'Hill of Content Bookshop'. Within the text there are 12 black and white photographs. Light blue boards with silver illustration on front panel and silver writing on spine. The top edge of the text block is slightly darkened and spotty, there is a gift inscription from to aunties on the front free end page, and pages 237 -- 240 failed to be sewn in at the time of manufacture. The dustjacket has some grubby marks on the rear panel, and traces of foxing. Price clipping and rubbing of the tips of the fold over creases. A good sound copy The memoirs of A. H. Spencer one of Australia's leading booksellers in the early and middle part of the 20th century. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1.
