Boards are moderately worn with brief exposure, and light rippling to spine. Bit of a lean to spine. Opens easily between gatherings towards center but otherwise binding holding soundly. A touch of spotting to endpapers but otherwise pages clean and unmarked.

Mystery novel and basis for the 1947 movie of the same name, starring Robert Taylor and Audrey Totter.
