About This Item
(Subject: The Third Reich - General) Reinhard Heydrich was one of the most ruthless of Hitler's henchmen. He joined the German Navy in 1922 but, in 1931, he was cashiered for 'womanising'. Joining the SS, under the auspices of Heinrich Himmler he rose rapidly through the ranks and created the bogus incident on the Polish border which precipitated WWII. Put in charge of the "Final Solution", he became 'Protector' of the annexed state of Czechoslovakia. He was assassinated in Prague by Resistance fighters sent from Britain, but on whose orders did his wife receive British protection after the War? An examination of the many mysteries surrounding Heydrich. (Published: 1999) (Publisher: Leo Cooper) (ISBN: 0850526299) (Pagination: 180pp, 18 b/w ills) (Condition: Mint in d/w) UL-XXXXXX
