Haarlem, Netherlands: Uitgeverij Ruijgrok Oversized hardcover without dust jacket, undated (c1940s), 302 pages including many black-and-white illustrations;---text in Dutch;---light shelf wear, rubbing and bumping to covers, spine slanted and age darkened, tiny bookplate inside front cover by previous owner (Dutch-Canadian silhouette artist and graphic designer Hans-Detlev Voss who still lived and worked in The Netherlands during the 1930s/1940s) and his tiny ink numeral inside back cover, but text block intact and tight, text pages very clean and unmarked, fresh and white.
