F. Warne, 1900-01-01. Hardcover. Acceptable. 0x0x0. Boards are red, rather than blue as in picture but lettering and gilt ornamentation is exactly the same--the gilt on all the edges is still bright. Gutters are cracked, unfortunately, but the text block is firm. 256 p., immaculate and unmarked anywhere, not even on end pages although there is faint staining on lower edge of back end page. The numerous engravings, many full page, are flawless and unfoxed. Fine paper, only mildly age-toned. 8"x10".
