George G. Harrap, 1938. Hardcover. Good. 1938. First Edition. 263 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt. Contains black and white photographic plates. Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout however binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering is darkened. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean.

Red cloth-covered boards; black titles on front and spine. 8vo. Sun-faded spine, lightly rubbed corners and spine ends, cloth worn through at bottom front corners, bumps to fore edge of front boards, soiling. Top text block edge dusty, remaining edges tanning and foxing. Free endpapers starting to fox. Previous owner's name and bookplate on front free endpaper. Early pages foxing otherwise internally neat, clean and tight.
