Pages are moderately tanned and heavily foxed, with pen and pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper and paste-down. Gutters are slightly cracked with binding exposed. Binding remains firm. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks and creases along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with slight bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Light tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Water drops on front board. Boards are subtly bowed.
