Someone, presumably one of the authors, has also written at the bottom of the rear wrap, in reference to the sentence "Studied with: Jose Garcia Villa and Richard Eberhart" in Friedman's author bio, "6/17/79. Jose does not like the use of his name as teacher because he thinks these poems are not good." Francia was born in Manila; Friedman in Washington DC.
