Large gift inscription on the front pastedown. Blue hardcover, lacking dustjacket, 18th printing in fair condition - heavily worn. Covers split through to the boards at the corners and joints with soil from handling and some staining. A hard bump to the top of the front board. Interior is much better - binding and hinges are solid, and no additional markings other than the mentioned signature and inscriptions at the front. The half-title page is creased but intact. 318 pp. black and white illustrations by Kuhn. This children's novel was the basis for Disney's live-action film "Westward Ho The Wagons."

Boards are clean and unmarked aside from some slight bumping at the corners and the top and bottom of the spine. Spine is solid and firm, and the text block is lightly age toned. 18th Printing. Illustrator: Kuhn, Bob. Jacket Condition: Good +. Size: 8vo - over 7 3/4 in - 9 3/4 in tall.
