About This Item
Cambridge, MA, 1959. 26p., staplebound wraps, corner crease. Libertarian/conservative student publication, with an editorial opposing the draft (and a response by Dennis L. White, one of the editors, stating his objection to the piece), an article asserting that libertarian idealism requires support for Tibet, a piece stating that conservatives don't necessarily oppose labor unions, etc. Most authors are identified only by initials, but a piece on the New Germany is by Bruce Hopper (JFK's thesis advisor). Dennis White, one of the editors, had resigned as chairman of the Committee to Study Disarmament the previous year, after unsuccessfully attempting to change the CSD into the Council Against Appeasement.
