Harry Pollitt: A Biography by Mahon, John - 1976

Lawrence & Wishart, 1976 567 pages. Signed and inscribed by Harry Pollitt's wife, in ink on first page. Inscription reads: 'Warmest fraternal greetings. Marjorie Pollitt. June 13th, 1976.' Dustcover is very worn - creased and bumped and faded at edges. Spine of dustcover is very faded and has some small stains. Book cover is a little bumped at edges and corners. Spine is mainly uncreased, although top and bottom edges are bumped. Pages are a little yellowed at edges, and have a slight musty smell. Pages otherwise clean, neat and tightly bound. Also included is a large black and white photograph of Harry, with 'Harry Pollitt: A great man' written on the back, in ink. Condition consistent with age of book.
