Worn but complete issue. Articles by Nordhoff (on California), Trollope and Thackeray make this collectible. But article I found most fascinating was "The German Gambling Spas." Describes the luxurious experience of gambling away every cent and then doing yourself in (see scan). Vivid descriptions and illustrations of the crowd and various games of chance.
