Library issue with inner hinges reinforced and "Library Edition" printed on front panel of dust jacket--issued by the publisher and intended for libraries, though this is not a ex-library copy. Near Fine with light rubbing at spine ends, pages lightly thumbed and small previous owner initials inked on rear paste down. In a Very Good price clipped dust jacket, which lacks the Caldecott Medal and has the proper codes of 30-60 & No. 5671A on the front flap and No. 5672A on the rear flap; edge wear, light rubbing, chipping to spine ends with a bit of loss along the folds.
