Dust jacket shows some moderate edgewear and some chips missing. One chip (appr. 1 in) is missing from the rear panel, and many smaller chips are missing along the edges. Large oblong green paper-covered boards with illustration of train, red plastic comb binding, 4 mechanical animations, unpaginated. Cover has rather heavy edgewear but surfaces almost like new and illustration is quite attractive; plastic comb binding like new. Animations about like new and work as intended; a couple of loose pages, first page taped in place and has prior owner's name in neat script along upper margin. Overall somewhat rough condition but still attractive, especially with animations in good working order. Slight wrinkles to some pages at binding. Interior is clean and sound. All animations work well. Dust jacket is edgeworn, chipped and torn, now protected in Brodart.

First movable has small tear along the tabbed slit. Second and fourth movable pages are perfect. Third movable apparently missing one of the tab mechanisms (two on that page). Jacket has several tears but still looks nice in archival protector. Julian Wehr animations.

This book is hard-bound in green paper covered boards, with color printing to the upper cover, with a red, plastic spiral binding, in a dust jacket with scuffing, soiling and heavy wear/chipping to the edges, with some loss. The covers show edge-wear and rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. There is some wear to the hinges, but with the binding solid. The contents are bright and generally clean, with some toning, also with nice illustrations in black & white and color, and with some movable illustrations. .
