From the inside front cover, "Rodrigo Rojas, member of the Political Commission of the Chilean Communist Party Central Committee and former Editor-in-Chief of the Party's central organ 'El Siglo', was arrested by the junta's sleuths immediately after the fascist coup and thrown into the internment camp at the National Stadium in Santiago. The fascist hangmen tried to break his will by subjecting him to indignities and torture."
