New York: Samuel French, (1938).. (1938).. Very good. - Octavo, printed tan wrappers. There is some very light creasing to the top edges of the wraps with 2 small stains to the rear wrap. 33 & [1] pages. Illustrated with a full-page stage plan in the rear. There is a horizontal crease to the 2nd leaf with a tiny dent to the front edge of each of the last few leaves. There is an ink correction to one word on the first page of the script. Very good. <p>The American premiere opened at the National Theatre in New York City on November 24, 1936, as one of a series of nine one-act plays by Noel Coward under the title 'Tonight at Eight-Thirty". The leading actors were Noel Coward and Gertrude Lawrence.
