First Edition Thus; A Near Fine book in a Very Good or better dust jacket. SIGNED, dated, and inscribed with a full page drawing of a Jack-O-Lantern on the front free paper. This is the later edition printed by the Knopf for Young Readers group; no mention of additional printings on copyright page. This book is in near fine condition with only light rubbing to the edges and a very slight slant to the binding, else fine. Housed in a crisp and vibrant very good or better dust jacket that shows mild rubbing and chipping at the spine ends, some offset to the front flap from the drawing on the FFEP, and a few creases to the back panel, and one larger crease to the rear panel. Overall, a handsome and presentable copy enhanced by the very cool drawing by the author. Not price clipped, not remaindered, and not ex-library; in Mylar protection and will ship in a sturdy box.
