Octavo, 312 pages, publisher's tan cloth, top edges stained tan (with faint remainder mark); pictorial dust jacket, with $4.95 on front flap, faint stain at top of rear panel. Inscribed on title page to booksellers Charles and Sandy Parkhurst: "To Chuck and Sandy, / All the best, / James Lee Burke" with Charles Parkhurst armorial bookplate laid in. A handsome copy, with staple holes at top of FEP.
