Eveleigh Nash, 1909-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Good. The Half Moon by Ford Madox Hueffer (Ford Madox Ford). 1909 First edition (English) in red cloth with gold lettering on the spine. Harvey (A27) also calls out a blue cloth binding, but there is no priority assigned to either. Also per Harvey (A27) the English Edition was published before the US edition which dropped several months later on sheets imported from England. Good copy in cloth. Binding is tight and pages are gently tanned with a bit of mild foxing here and there, but have no writing or markings. End-papers are more deeply tanned. Boards are gently bumped at spine and corners. Cloth cover has a a wrinkle at the top of the spine, a very small stain about 1/4 of the way down the spine, a 3/8" spot on the front, some fading at the spine and bottom of the boards, and mild soiling. For a 100+ year old book, this is a nice copy protected in a clear cover (NOT affixed to the book). Signature delivery confirmation required for this item. We use quality packaging materials.
