Illustrator: Larry Frederick -- Cover Art. 211 pages, last blank, 2 pages following further Whitman publications. Illustrated endpapers showing Dodge City streetscape. Illustrated front cover, by Larry Frederick, with white and blue writing on the front panel and white and black on the spine. Bumping and rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and rubbing to the book corners. Shelfwear to the lower book edges and browning, foxing and dust marks to the top paper edge and browning to the other. The front hinge has split and underlying webbing can be seen. The top corner of the front paste down has been torn and is missing. Handling marks to the endpapers and browning has also occurred. Slight browning to the internal pages as well. An authorised novel from the 1960s TV program -- Gunsmoke. Whitman Publication -- number 1520. This is the First USA Edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
