VG in its navy-blue cloth, with bright gilt-decoration and lettering to the front panel and spine. Light dust to the front panel, inner hinges fragile (but still perfectly sturdy). Thick octavo, 414 pgs. plus "Vocabulary of Selected Phrases" and "Index of Notes". "Chinese text--with English translation and notes by Evan Morgan". Very small former owner stamp at front free endpaper.
