The spine is a bit darkened with 2 vertical creases. 309 & [2] pages plus colophon. 16 pages of color photographic illustrations. Good. <p>Claire Granier left her home in Paris to live in Angmagssalik, a small port on the East Coast of Greenland. There she became the companion of a young Greenlander and experienced the culture and customs of Eskimo society, and the harsh realities faced by these Native Americans in the modern world.<p>The text is in French.
