Collates exactly, all points of the first edition. Pictorial orange paper-covered boards, with buckram spine lettered in black from the bottom up. Near fine condition, with some edge-bumping and the usual wear to extremities characteristic of paper-covered boards. Moderate wear to boards at corners. Cloth backing is somewhat soiled and yellowing but otherwise nearly unworn. A solid copy with soiling to the top edge, but internally near fine, with some slight toning and scattered foxing. Three bookplates inside front cover: bibliographic scholar Simon Nowell-Smith's, art dealer Judith Adams Nowell-Smith's. and Leslie Mead's. Otherwise clean, tight and unmarked. Very neat -- a sound and still handsome copy. 10-page publishers' adverisements at rear. xii,102[+10]pp..
