London: Oxford University Press/Geoffrey Cumberlege, 1954. Book. Good. Hardcover. Limited Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Turquoise cloth with title printed on label on front cover. Condition: Good, with light browning to endpapers from dustjacket flaps. Binding sound, no inscriptions. Spare title label for front cover tipped in to the edge of the last page of text. Dustjacket condition: Fair to good, generally lightly shelfworn with sunning to spine and dustjacket edges. Price-clipped. 40pp. 4 b/w illustrations. One of an edition of 750 copies. The history of the Gregynog Press had never been written before the Double Crown Club invited D.r Thomas Jones, then chairman of the press, to deliver an informal lecture on it. This book reprints the lecture as spoken, with illustrations from the original blocks, and with the addition of an appendix which gives a bibliographical description of the books printed and published at Gregynog..
