Red cloth with gilt spine lettering and gilt decoration, slipcase. 278pp. Extensive color illustrations (many tipped in). Near fine/very good. Mild slipcase edgewear. A tight and quite handsome first English-language edition of this large and heavy standard survey, beautifully illustrated. Pierre Verlet addresses "Gothic Tapestry," Michel Florisoone addresses "Classical Tapestry," Adolf Hoffmeister addresses "Contemporary Tapestry" and Francois Tabard addresses "The Weaver's Art." Some copies have dust jacket and slipcase (as issued), some have d.j. and no slipcase, some have neither -- and this one has slipcase and no d.j.
