About This Item
New York: Workers Library Publishers, 1934. Pamphlet. 79, [i]p., wraps, very good condition. *Seidman D320. "A day-to-day account of the general strike, with special emphasis on two aspects: The conduct of leading AFL officials who had decisive control of the strike committee is critically reviewed, and the contention made that they deliberately betrayed the strikers. The violent treatment accorded the Communist Party and organizations and individuals thought to be sympathetic to the party is condemned. A resolution of the Central Committee of the Communist Party, having reference to the strike is appended." *Mitchell Slobodek's A selective bibliography of California labor history, p. 37.
