About This Item

The Great Hunt (Book Two of the Wheel of Time) by Robert Jordan Hardcover First UK Edition - First Printing Orbit/Macdonald UK 1991. £13.99 cover price. Features alternative dust jacket artwork by Melvin Grant (different from the US edition) and also a large illustration of the Dark One on the end-papers. Near Fine+ in Near Fine Dust Jacket. An outwardly nice nice copy, some shelf-wear and it shows slight signs of having been read but not too extensive. Some natural aging to the text-block bit very little toning as is common with UK editions. A bit of shelf-wear to the top of the spine and at the corners. The dust jacket is near fine+/fine-, and completely intact. It would have been near perfect save some staining to the upper back (not seen on the front), probably from impressing from the upper spine, and nicks to corners, and a tiny slit to the bottom front, else still a great copy, better than it sounds, and the only copy available as of this writing.

Synopsis

Rand al'Thor, the enigmatic Dragon Reborn, embarks on a perilous quest to retrieve the fabled Horn of Valere and the cryptic Dagger of Shadar Logoth. Alongside his loyal companions, Rand navigates treacherous landscapes, encounters mythical creatures, and faces off against formidable foes. As the forces of light and darkness clash, intricate political machinations and deep-rooted prophecies unfurl. With each step, Rand discovers more about his own destiny and the immense power he wields. Filled with captivating world-building, intricate plot twists, and immersive magic systems, "The Great Hunt" weaves a grand tapestry of adventure, heroism, and the eternal struggle between good and evil. Second installment in 'The Wheel of Time' Series
