Illustrated endpapers. Missing the illustrated plate at p. 48. The rear board is a bit warped, and there is a moisture stain along the top edge of the front cover that measures 3 inches wide by 1/2 inch deep. The endpapers are cracked along the hinges. There is a bookseller's ticket on the rear pastedown. Dutch illustrator H. Willebeek Le Mair (1889-1966) published her first book Premiéres Rondes Enfantines when she was only 15. With regards to her work one critic for Studio wrote, "Since the days of Kate Greenaway I know of no one who has caught so well the spirit of childhood as Miss Willebeek Le Mair.
