Ophir, Colorado: WFM, 1904. Printed ticket for the ball, date of March 17, 1904 filled in by hand; 2x3.5 inches, very good. Embossed in blind with the seal of the Ophir branch of the union (perhaps to prove the ticket's authenticity at the door; the entry price was a steep one dollar).

[Denver, CO]: the Union, 1915. Handbill. Leaflet, 8.5x11 inches, stating that J.A. James of the Skidoo Miners Union in California has been declared unfair and fined $25 for not paying dues and "for knocking organized labor." Ed Langdon of the Rossland Miners Union in British Columbia is, on the other hand, listed as having placed himself back in good standing. Also present is a form, not filled out, by which a union member could file a complaint to have someone declared unfair. Includes details of physical appearance and residence, apparently so that someone could not easily escape by using a pseudonym. Very good.

Five documents, including a blank form for a local's quarterly report (8.5x11 inches, fold-creased; note at bottom says "Will send you the password for the ensuing quarter immediately upon receipt of your report ending March 31, 1903"), an unused form for a monthly report from 1915, a nomination blank for delegates to the AFL convention in 1915, a receipt to the Pony, Montana local for purchase of 100 delinquent notices from 1910, and a check from that local to headquarters from 1913 (fold-creased).

Pony, Montana: Western Federation of Miners, 1912. Ephemera. Seven 8x12-inch printed forms with written data, very good condition. The WFM union miners Local 131 of Pony, MT entered monthly figures on its membership, income and expenses, and other information for filing with the WFM. The local suffered high unemployment during this period. Gold mining was prevalent in this area in southwest Montana.
