New York: Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, 1974. Third printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. xiv, 615pp. frontis. portrait. 19cm. Thick 12mo. Hardcover. Publisher's original navy blue cloth over boards, gilt lettering to spine, decorations in gilt to upper cover.. Book Condition: faint signs of handling, else fine. Dust Jacket Condition: toning, to the spine especially; nicks and salt and pepper chips to much of the extreme edges, concentrating at the spine ends. Interior bright and unmarked, binding very solid and sound. The first translation published with U.S. in mind was done in an abridged edition in 1942, which this is a later printing of as stated on the copyright page. A nice copy. Knapsack sized for easy transport.
