Oblong octavo, unpaginated; G; Quarter green cloth and flat illustrated paper over boards; general rubbing and wear, primarily along extremities; ffep and title page separated at lower gutter, with following few pages progressively more attached; last page detached but present, with old tape remnants; front gutter slightly open; In copies lacking the dust jacket, which contains the only known first issue points, the Harper & Brothers imprint on the title page is used to indicate an early printing.
