About This Item

London: Jonathan Cape. In this first edition of her novel, the 2007 Nobel Laureate Doris Lessing has superbly portrayed the tensions and ironies of a certain kind of militant left-wing living of the day, drawing her characters with eloquent subtlety. 'The Good Terrorist' is a book of enormous power, demonstrating Lessing's unusual insight and narrative abilities at their very best. This book measures 8.5" x 5.5", has 370 pages and weighs around 640g. I would rate the condition of the book and dustjacket as very good. Other than the usual library stamps/stickers, there are no significant flaws. An attractive, economical first edition from this fine writer. . Very Good. Original Cloth. First Edition. 1985. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Synopsis

Doris Lessing was born of British parents in Persia, in 1919, and moved with her family to Southern Rhodesia when she was five years old. She went to England in 1949 and has lived there ever since.
