Hardcover Green pictorial cloth with green lettering on the front board and white lettering on the spine, 424 pages plus 7 pages of ads [in two sections] at the rear, illustrated with two fold-out maps [one of which serves as a frontispiece]. Adventure novel set in Africa and involving lost race elements. Listed in the original 1948 Bleiler Checklist but not in the 1978 revised edition Checklist. Not in Locke, Reginald or Tuck. Good only copy with wear, rubbing and soiling to covers. hinges cracked, previous owner name an bookstore stamp to front endpapers, light soiling to a few pages of text.
