Beautiful foliage motif blind decoration to covers and spine, with gilt ornamentation. Includes frontispiece engraving protected by india paper. All page-edges gilt. Inscribed and dated (1897, 1923 and 1926) by three previous owners. Occasional pages foxed, water damage to edge of upper cover, scuffing to ends of spine and corners of covers and spine cloth becoming partially detached.
