Westwood: Fleming H. Revell, 1956. 256pp. 1st Edition. Original black cloth, spine lettering stamped in gilt foil. Illustrated. ESPN ranked him as the third best boxer of all time. He won titles in three different divisions: featherweight, lightweight and welterweight. He was named Boxer of the Year by Ring Magazine in 1937 and in 1940 by Boxing Writers of America. He would come to Christ in retirement and become a Baptist preacher. Ownership inscription to the front free endpaper. Top corners bumped. The jacket is worn at the spine ends and has several tears and chips to the edges of the back panel.. First Edition. Original Cloth. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
