Signed by Author(s). 1st Edition. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. 12 1/2" x 9 1/2" Four-page Dinner Menu dated Sunday, June 8, 1941 with printed b/w cover photo of bandleader CHARLIE SPIVAK "The man who plays the sweetest trumpet in the world." Spivak has SIGNED and inscribed the cover in black fountain pen: "To Gertrude and Billie, Sincerely, Charlie Spivak" Glen Island Casino was a famous eatery and nightclub during the Big Band Era, and used the tag line "cradle of America's leading bands" and "dine and dance on the waters edge, just off the Shore Road on Route 1-A in New Rochelle, New York." Item in Good Condition, shows slight discoloration, smudges, and a 3/4" tear at the top center of menu cover. not touching inscription. Rare, one of a kind piece of pre-war American musical history..
