The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white photographs of the various crystal and art glass styles along with occasional black-and-white illustration. Illustrated covers, by Rien van Looy, with green and blue coloured background and white coloured titles to the front panel and spine. A small book on glass and crystal, directed at the collector, giving the history and various examples of the media to 1850. This book was originally published in the Netherlands, and European glass is featured heavily. Minor creasing of the book corners and back strip edges. The laminate of the book has started to lift – predominantly at the edges. Uniform age toning of the text block edges and pages. A little sunning of the back strip.
