London [1917]. (4to) 680pp. Very good, no dust jacket. Green cloth with decorative borders and spine, color pastedown illustration and bevelled edges. Illustrated endpapers, illustrations, photographs, index. There is a small stain on the front cover and the inner hinges are partly cracked. Otherwise a tight, sound copy. (Juvenile, Girl's Own Books).
