Illustrator: The Author. 350 g; not paginated (40 pages), with illustrated free end pages, illustrated half title page, illustrated title page (both in colour), illustrated dedication page in memoriam of Elisabeth Cleaver, body of book is illustrated with black-and-white drawings, with colour titles and borders. Colour illustrated dustjacket. The inside of the top edge of the dustjacket shows minor water damage, and a small adhesion to the cloth of the binding. There is on the front edge of the text block 2 1/2 inches from the bottom a small red spot, which may have been accidental, or maybe in indication of remaindering. This book shows us angels romping through the celestial alphabet. angels dancing, sailing, riding elephants and sunbathing in seashells, and around inglorious profusion line drawings of butterflies, ladybirds and rabbits all utterly charming and rendered with exquisite detail. -- Front fold over blurb Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
