Copiously illus., 16 full page color plates + 65 b & w reproductions of Picasso's work; 40 documentary photographs of Stein and Picasso. A dusky gold cloth over boards with silver lettering to spine and front cover, all very fresh. Clipped jacket with creased front flap. V. mild wear to extremities including a knife edge's worth of delamination along the top edge of front panel that runs for 2-3 inches.
