Reynal and Hitchcock, New York, 1934. First Edition. Hardcover (Original Cloth). Good/No Dust Jacket. 765 g.; VIII, 9-352 pages, last four pages blank intentionally, editorial preface, list of illustrations, short biography of Count Wilczek by Alfred Johannes Resseguier. Black-and-white Illustrated frontispiece of Count Wilczek . within the text there are three sepia toned photographs 1/4 blue coloured cloth backstrip with gilt titles. 3/4 dull red coloured cloth wards with gilt embossed 'arms' on the front panel. Dark red coloured tint to the top text block edge. The front fore edge of the paper has been handcuffed. A little rubbing to the book corners and backstrip edges and some browning of the internal pages and text block edges. Browning and offset tanning to the endpapers. A previous owner has scrubbed out their name in 'whiteout'. The reminiscences of Count Wilczek, Viennese aristocracy, through the latter half of the 19th and early part of the 20th century.
